It’s just a little belated, but I wanted to post this new image of Chadhiyana created specially for Diwali this year. The plan is to do a new piece every year in honour of the holiday (and her fire and light motifs do work well for it).
Upper level Patreon supporters were able to see this come together over a few days time, and digital supports got to see the entire, uncropped image when complete: patreon.com/jmdesantis. But whether you choose to support Chadhiyana and me (creator J. M. DeSantis) in this way or not, new Chadhiyana content is coming and in the near future. That much is for sure.
Happy (Belated) Diwali!
The last of the Naptopber (Naptember) pieces by J. M. DeSantis (others on jmdesantis.com and gentlemancthulhu.com).
In it is a first glimpse at one of the new characters in the upcoming series: her sometimes companion, Priyankee. (Soon to be introduced in a story illustrated by Jackie Musto.)

J. M. DeSantis YouTube Interview
Tonight (20 May) J. M. DeSantis will be interviewed by JD Calderon at 9 pm EST on Calderon’s YouTube Channel, LIVE! (Though the video will remain up afterward, in case you missed it.)
With lock-downs still in place all over the world, and the fact that J. M. hasn’t been putting out too many updates on current projects, this interview is certain to be full of news and updates on projects past, present, and future, including Chadhiyana, Gentleman Cthulhu, and his latest in-progress novel. It’s taken a while to get to this point, but finally there’s a new Chadhiyana comic, a short titled Chadhiyana: The Call of Fire and it’s free to read on chadhiyana.com! And although I didn’t plan it to line up this (near) perfectly, the new Gentleman Cthulhu artwork reveal comic is up on gentlemancthulhu.com today!
As I’ve written about before, I had taken a break from both projects, but intended to come back to them. Gentleman Cthulhu began his return with new comics posting since August of this year, and Chadhiyana will return in a new series next year through (my) Dark Fire Press (darkfirepress.com). And for you Chadhiyana fans, today’s post is mostly about the upcoming series. Read more… ›
